Your hair is looking good, she did a great job. I visited a white stylist a couple of times before I even joined LHCF. My main complaint was that she didn't use enough heat to get my hair super straight. I found a black stylist who definately was not shy about heat. If only I knew then what I know now. But my hair is on the road to recovery. Basically, you can't judge a book by its cover.

Looks great!! I've never had a bad experience with a white stylist and I've gone to a few. I already have picked out a stylist to cut my layers when I get to my goal length. He's a white guy and his cuts are out of this world. He keeps a waiting list...

30 bucks not bad, she knows AA hair, she used the wrapping papers for smoothing the wrap thumbs up to her normally an AA stylist would use those, it came out very nice,

I may try aquage silkening oil, i've been hearing good things about their products, their texturizing spray is supposed to be real good for the bed head look.

Okay! I'm back. She did a great job!

1. She took about an hour to wash, condition, wrap, put me under the dryer, blow dry (and finishing touches with the flat iron.)

2. She used this as a "silkening oil treatment" (her words) before she wrapped my wet hair. Something for me to PJ over, I guess.

3. Unbelievably, she got my wet hair wrapped. She was using one of those rattail combs, and I said, "Hey you aren't pulling all my hair out, are you?" And she said, "Nope." And showed me the comb with one poor little strand of hair in it. She put these crepe paper like things around my head before I sat under the dryer.

4. She used the brush and blow dryer method. It didn't seem to get to hot except at my nape.

5. She DID use the flat iron some. But I know for a fact that she charges extra for flat iron, so I guess since she just used it for "finishing touches" (I would guess roots, heh) then it didn't count.

6. 30 bucks, one hour. Not bad. My hair feels very soft and very swangy!
