Rollersetting 4 months post?

After my mishap last week I feel brave enough to wash my hair again. This time I plan to do a rollerset. I have some 2 inch mesh rollers and I wanted to try them out but will it look stupid with this bush thats on my scalp? TIA!

I don't really like the mesh rollers for smooth results. I like the magnetics better. I'm about 6 months post and the roots are poofy unless I flat iron them.

I can deal with that I suppose. I'd just do the temple area with the iron then.

I used flexirods at 5 months post with pretty good results. I don't roll them in a spiral, I use them like regular rollers. I like them because I can get closer to the scalp and stretch the new growth out. I used the scarf method to lay the front down...no heat needed.

ponytail roller set

The ponytail rollerset is great! I use a tiny bit of setting lotion and a boar bristle brush to smooth out the ponytail creases. If the creases are stubborn, I tie on a headband/scarf to help out.

Iono ya'll. Im scared to try it right now. It would take a helluva lot of brushing and manipulating to get it how I want it. 1 big ponytail wont work and splitting it up....Iono....

nooooo, try several ponytails. The ponies are to help get your roots straight with the tension.

Yes 4 or 5 is perfect.

IMO...I love mesh rollers. I have plastic green and yellow ones and they get my roots straight like nobody's business.
