Here are some pictures from a couple of weeks ago up to this Monday on Valentine's day.

I used coconut oil to pre-poo, VO5 to wash and Queen Helene Cholesterol mixed with shea butter and a LOT of tender loving care! I'll post pics of my update later.

# 1 Please notice how matted this hair was!

#2 Spot the heat damage?

#3 Notice the loose texture from the heat damage.
#4 Another view...the stinger.

#5 This is what it looked like at the beginning.

#6 My very dry and matted hair. I really ignored it.

#7 & 8 And ended. I like the shine.

#9 Just having fun here, I didn’t go out like this.

#10 Wish my hair could stay moist like this all the time

#11 My natty locs with coconut oil. See how white it turns when it’s dry :S This is why I decided to sit under the dryer to warm it up again.

#12 Oiling it up with coconut oil.

#13 Under the dryer with my coconut oil.

#14 This is how my hair was from December to Mid Jan 2010.

#15 Hair balls from the prep.

#16 Dry texture shot.

Ya'll I'm so nervous this thing is going to time out, I don't have time to organize it and I’m so sleepy. It took me forever to figure this thing out!

Enjoy........

Thatnk you! I believe that was Qhemet Amla and Heavy Cream to moisturize. But that was also a very dry and neglected set.

You have some beautiful hair!!!

Thank you ladies,

The hair matting was because of pure laziness and avoiding a comb and not washing for weeks! Coconut oil whipped it into shape really well though.

The heat damage is what I'm trying to grow out, my transition if you will. Pre-LHCF I was going to the DR salons.

very pretty... my hair mattes easily too. i didn't know coconut oil helped the "de-matting"... thanks for the info... good to know.

Gorgeous. I liked #9---it looked like a really good, thick twistout.

Did you leave the same twists in from dec-jan without re-doing them? I just left some in for 3 weeks and some of my hair locked up. I made them a little bigger this time.
