I'm sure your hair will look pretty when you are done!I am too. I'm putting Hydratherma Naturals Growth Lotion + coconut oil on my ends. I'm also putting paper towel strips on my ends (I refuse to pay more than 99 cents for end papers) and rolling my twists with perm rods.
*High Five in the air*me, conditioning hair![]()
Me, me....
Massaging my scalp, twisting it up...
Yes, girl....I keep smelling my hands..I love the fragrance and how soft my hands are right now.....*ahhhhhhhhh*I will be tomorrow, isn't it therapeutic!![]()
Sounds great, girl....I am sitting her under the heating capo with a moist DC after my hard core protein treatment.
I'm always doing my hair. HIH disease. I'm retouching braids.

Your hair looks great in your siggyI'm following your lead. I plaited my hair to shampoo it, and now I'm sitting under the dryer with a protein treatment in. I'll use a softening DC next.
It's my goal to straighten my hair today, but that'll be determined on how I feel after I detangle.
Nice...Me. Doing kinky twist.
I didn't get but a dusting of snow this timeIt's snowing outside and I can't condition yet until I dig out and move my car for the plows.
In the meantime, I pulled out my jar of Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment. I've applied it to my hair and massaged my scalp and put my hair in a faux bun while I patoot around the house.
Later on tonight, I will deep condition with steam (AO GPB) and finish with a cleanse and leave-in with my Wen Fig.
La tee dah!![]()
I need to get me one of those....ME!!! I just got under my steamer.
I didn't get but a dusting of snow this time...I don't know what's going to happen later today, but right now I'm glad it didn't snow much here on the island.
I still have some of that treatment and haven't used it in a very long time...sounds like you have everything all planned and set for some pretty, moist hair!!!
I've got to get rid of my gray hair! I hate looking older due to my hair.I am looking to do some at home protein treatments until my Aphoghee gets here.

Thanks, girlieHey J, I wanted to tell you your hair looks so good in your latest avatar.
Lucky you! (re: snow). I'm home this week and all my cold weather gear (boots, gloves, jackets) for cleaning snow are over Bob's.
Either I have to find someone to dig me out or get Bob to drive down here from Little Falls and do it. I bet I know what he's gonna say...![]()

Have you tried henna and indigo? Natural hair coloring at it's finest!
Sorry for your breakage you were having. Glad you have something that works for you. That's how I feel about L'Occtaine...the best product ever for my hair!!!I am. I noticed some breakage so I swore off all the products I've been using that have been recommended on this board. I totally clarified, and went back to Ultra Black Hair Cathy Howse regimen. It rescues my hair. I just cleaned out my closet of stuff that doesn't work or did my hair no good. Go to the Seller's Forum to see the stuff (GREAT stuff) I have for sale.
I wanna try that combo but it seems so "labor intensive"...

It's not once you get the hang of it.
For the 2 step process. Just add warm water to the henna and mix, throw a splash of oil in it and apply. Rinse out after 3-5 hours and then do the same with the indigo minus the oil. Let the indigo stay on for 2-3.
