I'm shopping for a relaxer and I think I'm going to order this one. Is this one comparable to a mild butter blends or not? Sorry if that's a dumb question, I'm just getting confused here. :perplexed

ohhhhhhh That would be an important thing to take into account. :look:

Oh goodness....I can't find the mild butter blends on bluebeez

You not being able to find it could be because from what I've seen -there is technically no product called Mizani Mild....maybe there was in the past.....but currently it's called Mizani Fine/Color treated on the box which is why its hard to find it when you type in Mild (that's just what folks call it)

took me minute to figure this out

I once spent several minutes at a BSS shoving aside all the Mizani Fine/Color treated jars looking for the Mild one and getting upset :lachen:

it wasnt till I saw Amazon posting it as Mild/Fine/Color treated that I realize they were one in the same. They probably added the term mild to the listing because they got wind of the confusion

Here you go:
http://www.amazon.com/MIZANI-Butter...ef=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1265005114&sr=8-1

ETA: Let me know how it goes cause I have yet to use Mizani and am excited about using it in the Spring.

thanks so much love! I'm quite excited to use it too! I'll definitely remember you to drop you a message or I'll blog about it...

Ok, so if I buy the tub of relaxer do I have to mix it with anything before applying..?

Because I noticed that the no-lye relaxer (Mizani sensitive scalp) came with a bottle of activator that you had to mix in 5 minutes before relaxing?????

With the No-Lye" mixing is required and it does not come in a tub. It comes in small one use containers - only the Lye comes in a tub...

^^ Thanks I have ors creamy aloe and it says that it's neutralizing too...is that ok?

The neutralizing shampoo that comes with the Butter Blend system has a color indicator to let you know if you washed all the perm out of your hair. I'd recommend it personally.

The color thing is helpful. I'll see if I can find it. It's probably super expensive right, don't know if I can afford it at this time.

Yes...I use this a neutralizing shampoo...I am pretty sure that it is indicated somewhere on the bottle..

Cool, ya it says neutralizing on it.
