*shakes fist* That's my spot too, for all my cheapie healthy hair needs. Because the one at the Atlantic Center in Brooklyn is out of the good stuff EVERY SINGLE TIME I go! (Darn LHCF ladies!!) I have no problem trekking to the Bx for my Aussie Moist 3-minute for $2.99, because I am NOT paying the BSS price of $6.

If you mean synthetic and not silk satin, regular Beauty Supply stores carry them wrapped up in the same packaging as weave and wig caps, in the same aisle. They are meant to be "wraps" to wear at night to smooth down your edges but they look just like cloth/soft headbands.

Dollar store? Mind sharing the dollar store location? I like the target at @ 153 st & River Ave in the Bronx better than the 225 street one btw. Plus there is also the Bed Bath Beyond which has a great selection of beauty & hair products and Costco which has some stuff and the T.J Max or Marshalls whatever the place is called. Point is between all those stores I can usually find what i am looking for. I wish they would put a Sally's there though.

In Brooklyn, on Coney Island Ave & Avenue Z. They had some brown and tan colored ones (no black ) like this (the tails might be a little shorter though):

Dang Bk Avenue Z, hmm I might have to just forget the dollar store discount for that. The travel time and money end up costing more than if I bought in a regular store lol.
