What's the difference between doing this style with twist opposed to flat twist?

I'm definitely going to try a flat twistout on blowdried natural hair sometime in the 2nd half of next year. I love her results!

I will also try my flat twists in this direction next time I plan to do a twistout, I like how her hair falls.

I have done it with twists and did not get uniform curl pattern. Now that I have seen her do it with flat twist I am def going to try it and see if I get more uniform results.

My hair is in flat twists right now as I type lol. I don't think mine will come out as good as hers because it was my first time ever flat twisting, but I'm at least guaranteed some giant hair.
