am i alone in thinking that what you eat/drink is much better than any supplement or conditioner in the longrun?!?!It seems like most are still a little 'over the hill' on the products/supplements when i think i should get out of Sally's and high tale it for the health food store.
Mind you this isnt just passing judjement,i accually had an arguement over this

.Just a thought.

I understand what you are trying to say, but supplements are just that, they supply what you may not get from food. Many people do eat healthy but may not get every every thing they need. Some people naturally lack certain minerals in there bodies more than others possibly due to genes, etc. And nomatter how healthy you are, I think you should always use some type of conditioner in your hair.

I think that diet and products are equally important, but I definitely notice that my hair seems stronger when I eat right and take my vitamins. If I eat a lot of junk food during the week my hair seems to lack the shine/luster it has when I eat right.

Actually I'm with you on this. I had to stop taking vitamins for a while. During that time I starting eating really healthy and my hair really thrived.

Ditto. If anything supplements should be on the same side as diet with products on the other side.

I've learned that our food these days, even organic vegetables, do not have all of the vitamins and minerals they used to have way back when, due to depletion in the soil. And food even approved by the FDA, have much less nutritional value than it used to. So a good diet plus supplements are necessary.
