Hask Placenta.

It's a very good product and cheap too. I use it every other week with heat. It really strengthens my hair.

My breakage wasnt bad, but some of my ends were literally snapping off in a tiny pieces. (My hair is fine and will break if it gets too soft)

Does anyone else use this? I definitely recommend :)

Maybe it will help someone else......

I glad this worked for you. I know how nerve wracking breakage can be. I haven't used it lately, but my first hair stylist used it on my hair and it worked wonders. My hair is fine 4a. He was big on hair care--way before I understood how important it was.

I haven't used this in ages! Is this the leave-in treatment or the conditioner? May have to start stocking up..:scratchch

did you see that other thread about the placenta products being dangerous for us??? hold on, lemme find it for you....

I read this thread, but non of the Hask Placenta Brand products were listed I use the Henna'n' placenta every other week ( try to atleast I forget sometimes) and I have the leave in spray, and I use it sometimes if my hair has been sheading. I love both!
okay, thats good!! so, the Hask brand is alright...i'll make a note of that :D

Glad it stopped your breakage, I used to use this years ago although it did not work for me.

I haven't used this in a long time, I'm glad that it worked for you buffalosoldier.

BTW I like your screen name. :)

did you use the leave-in treatment or the moisturizer? I have the leave-in treatment at home and i haven't used it in a while. I"m experiencing some breakage and a tad too much shedding in my opinion, it's not a lot but i dont want none; it makes me nervous about stretching my trims. I'm thinking of using the Aphogee for Damaged Hair but i'm afraid of it, lol so any alternative would be good. please let me know

Hask Placenta has placental protein as an ingredient and Hask Henna and Placenta has placenta extract. Both are derivates of the same hormones which could increase the risk of breast cancer and cause early puberty in young girls.

I have used Hask Placenta leave-in treatment off and on for years with great results (including quite recently), but after the post about possible hormonal side effects/cancer risk  I decided to leave it alone.

Cancer risks??? What the heck????

Anyway I use the hair treatment that you wash out. No it doesnt make my hair hard, but I follow up with a moisturising condish anyway.

I've just checked the bottle and it's actually henna and placenta.

Boy oh boy you find that something that really works, when lo and behold you find out it gives you bloody boob cancer!
