Is there anyone who uses yes to cucumbers conditioner as a leave in? I know that they make a leave in but i was just curious if anyone used the conditioner as a leave in. tia

Bump.......................................................................................................

Tried it last night. Not sure I'm fond of it though. I washed and DC'd, applied Yes to Cucumbers and oil to seal, finished with some gel for definition. I was a white fuzzy mess. I don't know if it was the conditioner, oil, or gel, but it wasn't great. I've tried the leave-in conditioner with oil and gel with great results, but the rinse out conditioner didn't cut it. I may try again though, who knows?:ohwell:

Thank you, i really want to try it as a leave in but i wanted to see if others have tried it first.

I might just give it a try, i looked on the web site and my conditioner has the exact same ingredients as the leave in, just a few things in a different order.

I say go for it. It made my hair feel really good; the combination just didn't work. I think I'm going to try again with a different gel. Let us know how it works for you.

I sure will, i got the idea because i always baggy with the con on dry hair and it just soaks in, leaving my hair really soft.

OMG LC... I have used this the last two days to cowash...and it IS SO MUCH MORE MOISTURIZING than YTCa!!!!

The feel is like 10X better than the YTCa...which already feels like excellent. I see that this is a $1.00 more than YTCa... maybe that's why...:lachen:

La Colocha, how'd it work out for you? I'm thinking it was the gel, Fantasia IC, that caused the white balls in my hair (seriously, I had to rewash the next day). I'm going to def try again with it.

Fab, I know right!! It was super moisturizing. So much so that I looked at the bottle again and was like "daily care?!?" That's why I was so disappointed when I went gray. I'm thinking of adding it to my moisturizing spray.

Ummm this is the sign of a PJ... just so you know. Randomly throwing items in the cart...LMAO.

Ummm #2.. How did you use it that fast? It's 16 oz??!?! Did you pour some over some salad??? :lachen::lachen: (Excuse my sarcasm... I had a rough day at the slave ship)

Ive had it for a few weeks. I use it to baggy and co wash with. Im always reaching for it and its the bomb to baggy on dry hair, just soaks it up. Hmm i do wonder if it tastes like cucumbers:lick::lachen:. Im eatin a salad rhat now.

I ended up trying this last night, on damp hair alone about a dime sized amount on sections of hair.

good- soft hair, shiny.

bad- a little too greasy, frizzy hair.

I like the way it made my hair soft but it may be too much moisture for my hair. I will only use this as a co wash and baggy treatment. I might try the actual leave in at a later date.

Hey fab, they do sud up. I don't know if you've tried it before but it reminds me of the tigi bedhead moisture maniac con without the pineapple smell. Love this stuff. I wonder if the ytcu shampoo is any good.

I did it last night. I did a steam treatment for 30 mins with it and also applied it to damp hair. It helps with detangeling very well, the comb slid through my hair. I then applied some chi silk infusion and did a pony tail roller set. My hair is not greasy in that sense but I don't feel the need to use any oils on my hair ......nor is it frizzy but my hair is light, not that it's a bad thing especially for someone who has fine hair and wanted to try it, but my hair doesn't usually come out this light unless I'm using very little products (which I did anyway). I'm going to try it as a moisturizer as well and see if i like it.

Please let us know how it turns out as a moisturizer. I just set my hair in twists, I might have made a difference in the outcome. The con and the leave in have the exact ingredients but some of the oils like jojoba is lower on the list in the leave in. And i think 1 or 2 of the other ingredients are switched around.

where can you buy this?

Walgreens, riteaid and target are the stores i know of. Walgreens has a buy 1 get 50%off right now plus the $1.00 off coupon. Some stores are not participating. You can mix and match products from yes to carrots, yes to cucumbers and yes to tomatoes. Hair and body products. Hth

Your hair is beautiful. How do you use the actual leave in? Do you use it alone or do you seal with something?

Thanks! Umm, I just apply some on bare hair after rinsing the conditioner before using any other product whether it be butter based product or styling product (gel). No strict process around using it.
