Please don't stone me for asking the dreaded "what's my hair type question.":lachen:Some of you ladies may have seen my BC thread from a few days ago, but forgot to ask the question in there. But I have a couple reasons for wanting to know my hair type:

1.) Because I plan on trying out new products and knowing my hair type may help me to not become a PJ lol.

2.) Just plain ol' curious :)

As I was transitioning I was thinking 3c/4a. I'm still kinda thinking that now, but not sure...also my crown doesn't curl, and it's hardly waves (just kinda there) unless I brush it in a ponytail and tie it down with a scarf, then it's wavy.. so I don't even know what to consider that area? TIA!

I don't think I commented on your thread when you BC'd, but I love your hair! It looks just like mine! I don't hair type, so I can't help you in that area, but congrats on your BC.

Congrats on your BC. It looks like your hair is a 3c and 4a mix. I see some pencil-sized curls/spirals throughout and I identify those as 3c as opposed to coffee-stir sized that are 4a.

Your hair is beautiful and we all have so many different textures on our heads I wouldn't be concerned about curl typing. Happy hair growing.

Thanks Lynnerie! You have some beautiful hair too! Oh and yes you're right no doubt...we have so many different textures on our head..I think I have like 3 :) Yep I'm not caught up in the typing system...as I think all textures are beautiful, just curious as to what I have going on, on my head. HHG to you too!

:lachen: I have the same issue, the top being very slightly wavy/fizzy curls that are hard to define. I'd say 3c 4a mix too.

I know I'm super late in replying but hair typing is confusing. I've been reading in another current hair typing thread and I think I'm even more confused now lol. I'm just enjoying my curls, kinks, waves, coils...whatever type it is LOL.
