Does anyone know what type of yarn is used for yarn twists? I did a search and didn't find anything on what kind is used. My braider is supposed to send me a link from some places she knows that sell it but I haven't received her email yet.
Someone told me that you just use plain old yarn that you knit with. I was like " What???". Yeah, the lady told me that you use regular yarn to do those twists.
Thanks! I've been doing a google search and finally found a braiding salon listed where the braider used regular yarn. I also found a yarn called "lin" that's used also. Now I'm trying to find out where to buy it. I found one site that sells but it's like $25.00 a pound so I'll keep searching.
