So, I just co washed and deep conditioned. Put my hair in some rollers.. I was real excited cause this is my first roller set. I get my soft bonnet dryer, sit under here for all of 5 minutes and it turns off on me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know what is wrong with it! The power light still comes on.. its just stopped blowing air. WTF?! So, now i'm sitting here with all these rollers in my head wondering what to do. :wallbash:

i have a soft bonnet too and i have to leave it on med or it will shut off for a minute... try unplugging it for a sec it'll come back on

I have no practical advice about the dryer, but remember that you're airdrying even while you try to figure out what's wrong with the dryer. If you don't get the dryer started, eventually your hair will air dry. If you need it dry sooner, you could use a blowdryer - continually moving over your rollers....

What she said!!!

Try pushing the reset button (the little red button) on your dryer and then give it a few minutes and try turning on again. If that doesn't help, then it's gone to dryer heaven.

I have gone through a few soft bonnet dryers and every time I go through one, I vow not to buy another one, but they are soooo convenient. Even if you are going to air dry, I would suggest at least getting a hand held dryer to distribute heat over your hair for just a few minutes, just to initially "set" the hair.

Try the reset button on the dryer. If that did not work, check the fuse box. Your lights may be using a different fuse than the dryer which can account for why your lights are still on.

Thanks ladies.

Im going 2 try again shortly. i hope it comes back from the dead... really dont wanna air dry a rollerset...

If the reset Button doesn't work, it sounds like the Motor may have went, Sorry about that!
