conditioner. This thing is tha bomb. I sweared by CPR, but I might have a new best friend. My hair was so soft, I mean baby soft and I am 9 weeks post relaxer. I was a little worried at first because I left in in a little longer than suggested on the jar because I was folding up clothes. Anyway when I rinsed my hair was so soft, really I have found a new friend. I see this in the store all the time but was confused because it says Oil moisturizer on the front. but the complete name is Moisture silk protein conditioner. It didnt completely stop my shedding like the Cpr but my hair was soft and smooth and tangle free.

hmmm....so is this a light protein that cant be overused? I mean, can it be used often, as in weekly? what is the effect of silk protein?

I should be ashamed for asking, my main problem right now has been too much protein so Im laying off all protein for a while...lol

Yep, I swear by Motions conditioners, but I just realized the silk formula had protein it it. No wonder it didn't make my hair as soft as the regular formula.

Me too, I was hunting for it a long time and didnt know that it was the same one that was in front of my eyes the whole time. It says Oil moisturizer on it so I never paid any attention to it at all until this weekend when I asked the guy at the BSS.

I just bought it so I dont know. I might rotate with that and the cpr, Or I might just use it depending on what my hair needs.

Do you usually follow the CPR and the Silk Protein with a moisturizing conditioner or do you just use them by themselves?

Well, this is one that I don't always follow the directions on. Sometimes I leave it on for a while and when I do that, I follow it with a hot oil treatment (ION). But when I follow the directions, I just proceed as usual and don't follow it with anything but a leave-in.
