Yaki Synthetic + Curling Irons!

I cannot say for the wefted weave hair, but I have tried using a curling iron on synthetic braided hair (ends were loose) and it just fried the ends and the curl did not take. I had better luck just curling the ends on rollers and dipping in hot water. The curls last forever! Maybe the same principle applies? The only diff in the hair is that one is wefted and one is not, right? I am not sure myself, but I thought I'd give it a shot. Otherwise, I have never had a weave with synthetic hair. Sorry if this is absolutely no help...

hm.. was it Yaki? I just looked at their site and they gave curling directions:

-Set Curling Iron to temperature of 265-356 Degrees Fahrenheit.
-Spray water wide on chosen section of hair.
-Curl hair by holding curling iron on hair for 30-60 Seconds.
-Style as desired.

I don't remember if it was Yaki...Might have been...Actually, I think I have done the curling iron/water thing, too, on braids with loose ends. It worked well. I think the water is key to set the hair, because just the curling iron does zippo but fry it up. I'm sorry I cannot remember if it was Yaki, but I did use the curling iron/water, too and that worked for the type of hair I had.
