It makes it easier to wrap your hair wet if put in a couple of rollers right at the top crown of your head then wrap the rest of your hair as you normally would. Then tie the wrapped portion down with your scarf to keep it smooth. This also helps you hair dry faster as i found the top crown always took longest to dry anyway.
I always wrap my hair wet after washing/conditoning since I don't blow dry my hair. It's alot easier when you use a leave in conditioner or a setting lotion to make your hair nice and slippery. I dont use any rollers, I just tie it with a do rag and let it dry overnight.
I only wet wrapped my hair once and my hair was still puffy in some places. But I'm texlax so maybe it works better for relaxed ladies. And it took almost 2days to completely dry. So I think if u do it u should brush ur wrap tightly so it doesn't get puffy and put a scarf on and sit under the dryer for a little while to speed up drying time. Hth

I did this when I was relaxed, about 2-3" past shoulder. It worked well for me and wasn't difficult. I used Profective Breakfree and wrapped it damp. It wasn't flat iron straight, but straight with more body. I didn't do it too far post relaxer either.
ive been doing this for 3 months once a week after prepooing+washing+dc'ing, no heat unless i had a crinkle or something from the way i wrapped it =) i love it. my hair is much thicker and healthier. all i need is my leave ins and chi serum and im good to go.
My hair hates being wrapped when wet... I had a stylist that would do it. She put a big roller in the center of my head and then wrapped up the rest. I would sit under the dryer and it came out great. Whenever I tried it at home #epicfail! It's been a long time since I've tried but since you all love it I'll have to try it again some time.
