Well I must say that this is a first, going this long without a relaxer. I did suffer a couple setbacks due to major tangles from my new growth but all in all I think I did pretty well. I dont think Ill ever wait this long again just because of the tangles I got, but I know that if I HAD to do it again I could with minimal breakage. Im will relax tomorrow and post pics when I find my camera (I moved last week and misplaced it). Just wanted to give a small update since I havent been posting much, been so busy moving!

I'm almost 14 weeks post relaxer and plan on waiting until may 15. my hair is getting tangled and I lost quite a few strands but I will be in cornrows by next week

Congrats Girl, I only lasted 15 weeks a first for me.
I am not sure if I will wait that long again may relax at
12 week I did not lose as much hair as I thought I would.

It's great that you could wait that long. I'm 14 1/2 weeks post relaxer and I'll be relaxing April 15th (at 15 weeks).

Congratulations on stretching out your relaxer!

For me this is the last time I'm going to wait this long for a touch up. I am doing this cuz I wanna have a fresh relaxer for my B-Day... Congrats to everyone who suceeds in stretchin their relaxers... Grow on!

Thanks ladies, I doubt if Ill ever and I mean EVER wait this long again, too much hassle. I think 10 weeks is long enough for me!

Babygurl, do you still use Luster's Pink Oil relaxer? Im thinking of trying that. Thanks

Hey Pink Flower, yes I still use that and it still works like a charm, I was thinking about switching to another no lye relaxer but I figure why mess up what works!
