Ok my friend braids her daughter's hair very tightly. Her daughter has naturally thin/fine strands and she doesn't have a lot of them but hey she's only 4.
I notice the girl's hairline looks kinda thin, maybe it's from the tight braiding I dont know. Even my mom noticed it. Plus I had my friend briad my hair before and she does braid very tightly.
Now my friend has always been the one to remind me of how bad my hair is.
I remember her saying one time "oh thank God my daughter has that good hair not that bad hair, cause you know how that goes", referring to my hair.
and she seems to be stuck on that.
I honestly REALLY dont like talking about hair if it's not someone on LHCF. But I'm scared the little girl will have traction alopecia before she's even in her teens.
Now I wanted to tell her not to braid her daughter's scalp too tight but part of me is like she wouldnt take advice from me anyway because I have "bad hair" according to her.
What do you think?
