Would wearing a hat, scarf, or headwrap daily prevent growth??

I'm trying to forget that my hair is in an awkward state so I've been heavily experimenting with these accessories. As long as they are not super tight, there'd be no reason why they would impede hair growth, right?? Maybe they might dry the hair out if I don't tie my head first with a silk scarf but they would not cause bald spots or anything like that?

if anything, i would think the warmth you'd get from the headwear would help your growth.....no?

If they are the wrong type of fabric (like cotton or wool) they could prevent you from retaining length

Yeah, 50% of the time I've been wrapping silk around my hair before I wrap the usually cotton scarfs around that. I need to get more consistent with that.
