Hey ladies, for everyone who works out daily or on a regular basis what are you doing with your hair? I was thinking of getting a texlax so that I can wash and go easier and have more curl definition. right now I am natural with some color on the ends and have 3c/4a hair so there is curl in some places and then not in others.when I first put my color in it was sort of like being relaxed so maybe I just get a retouch on the color from aveda. is that good, putting a totaly different color on top of another? I don't know colr, texlax, or this new wash and go relaxer deal. all I know is that I need to start shedding some baby fat seeing as how my youngest baby will be 3 next week:ohwell: what do you guys think?

Does color really change the texture of your hair? Permanent or semi-permanent?

I'm not sure if it is supposed to but I know that when she put that paul mitchel permanent in mine i definitly had more of a defined curl pattern when my hair was all the dry:perplexed
Any suggestions ladies?

i try to squeeze my workout days together so i don't wash too often. i may workout mon, tues&wed - then wash wed - two day break - then workout on friday or saturday. or if i washed the day before i may do a low cardio workout so i won't sweat again.

i find myself washing about two times a week and working out 3-4 days a week. i just read another poster who co-washes daily. it's a little too much for me since i'm a serial shedder and half of my hair is 80% relaxed :ohwell:

oh and color definitely changes the texture of your hair. my colored hair is much thinner/finer than the rest of my hair.
