Women Who Braid w/o Extensions - Success?

Here are the recent box braids I did w/o extensions I said I would post for you to see. I did these last night.

very pretty, im do my hair like this once i get bra strap length, its too short now for me to like it braided with just my hair, but i can't do extensions either, the weight of the hair pulls your hair and can lead to breakage

I actually liked by braids shorter. They were bouncy, curly, and cute. Once they got past shoulder I thought they had no shape and that's when I got bored and took them out.

my hair is sholder length, i would love to do these braids with my natural hair...but i cannot imagine turning up for work like this...!

Its not right (i know) but they simply would not accept this!

Why wouldn't they except you with braided hair? Where do you work?
