I was wondering if any of you ladies experience this.

During the winter months I get these scabs and bumps on my scalp. It's not like I oil my scalp for extra sebum and for my follicles to get clogged. I thought this happened only during the summer when the scalp has filled with heat and sweat.

Any advice??

Keep your scalp clean, and leave them alone.

Are you relaxed? Is it possible that the scabs are being caused by the dry air of winter? I have only gotten scabs in my no-lye relaxer days and I always thought it was because of the drying effect it had.
You may want to see a doctor or dermatologist about this. Some people have seasonal skin conditions (for instance my eczema always acts up when the seasons change and it is a lot like what you describe) Only a dermatologist or physician coud tell you for sure whether it is an allergic reaction to a particular product or whether its is a skin condition that is aggravated by the dry cold and dry heat of winter.
I hope this helps. If you could provide more info about your winter routine, maybe some other ladies can give you more advice.
