Hello everyone,

This is my first posting, hope I get good feedback.
I'm having real issues with my hairline. Years of braiding stripped it away, literally. It's not completely bald but just won't grow out, feels prickly if you run your fingers over it. Been like that for about 2yrs now.

Has anyone had this sort of experience and come out the other side with hair growth?
I've been reading some of the postings and I'm looking into using Lenzi's Request and Surge Hair Revitalizer Plus 14. Unfortunately I'm having real difficulty getting hold of Surge so would appreciate if anyone can help. I'm in London so would need store that does international orders.

Cheers Everyone

Hi sorry to hear about your hair issues.
Where in London do you live? I've seen surge in julliet's (sp) and Ace in peckham, if you live in north london you can try pak in finsbury park. Have you tried using the ors temple balm or castor oil? these are good products that have helped with my edges. Whatever you decide to use it will take a while before you see results.

Hello,
Sorry for the hairloss. You might want to check out a product named BT( Boundless Tresses) For more info on it, go to: http://growthspecifics.com/
This stuff really works!!!!! For orders outside the USA, contact Integrity(LHCF member), she is in the UK.
Also check the different threads on it with testimonies and pictures.

Good luck to you:)

I was going to post about BT. Also, you may want to try using Nexxus Vitatress Biotin Creme. This was really effective in growing my hairline back after post partum shedding.

Yeah it should, i used Africa's Best Hair Fertiliser and got baby growth along my hairline. i thickened it up with my sulphur/ vatika mix. HTH

Thanks for all your helpfull tips.

temfash, I popped along to Pak's in Finsbury Park and sure enough they had it so I bought it along with the shampoo. Now I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Cheers

Hey could you keep us posted as to whether surge works for you or not? I'm in London also and have a slight thinning of the hairline from the last time I put in braid twists. If this surge thing works then I'd be willing to give it a try! :)

Nevaeh1282,

Just a quick update. My hair line is looking darker so I reckon it's coming back slowly. It's been over 2yrs since anything sprouted from there. I've been using Surge religiously for about 3wks now and I rub Lenzi's Request into my edges twice a day. Done that for about 1.5wks now. I use the Surge shampoo every other day. I think it's the LR that's doing most of the work. Not too sure though as it could be a combination.
I've recently ordered BT so I'll see how that goes once my LR runs out.

I'll post some pics in about 6wks or so. My edges we're practically bare, actually they were so I'd rather not post now. Really ain't pretty.

BTW, I find the Surge prods quite drying. So I moisturise once it's dried up.

Hope this helps.

I did some research about essential oils and found the following formula to stimulate hair growth. It has definitely worked for me:

10 drops each of lavender, cedarwood, thyme, and rosemary essential oils in 16 oz of a carrier oil (like jojoba). Apply and massage into the scalp daily.

Good luck!
