Hey I have a straight one and a curly/wavy one as well.
I used a weave cap with the holes in it for one. Pros- it was very light weight and allowed my hair to breathe. Cons- Tears easily and weave gets a greasy look from hair products I use on my own hair.
The other I used a spandex wave cap,Pros- I like this one because my hair products don't get on the weave.Cons- Depending on which one you get dye from the cap will run when you wash or scratch your head.
As for hair I used indique's pure curly hair and barbies world spanish wave/yaki texture blend.
REGI:
I cowash and deepcon my hair once a week. Shampoo biweekly. Straighten weekly.
Products:
AO GPB conditioner and shampoo. I use Alter Ego garlic deep conditioner weekly. I use John Frieda's Frizz ease weather protector and straightening creme on my leave out. On my braids I use a spray bottle that consists of African royal braid spray, hot six oil, infusium23, gylcerin and aloe vera juice. I seal with Qhemet olive oil& burdockroot creme and jamaican black castor oil.
