CurlyCrly said:That's a good question. I didn't see them when I searched sally's online, but a local bss that sells wigs may have them. I may be wiggin' it soon, but I'll probably get my wig online....will get the comfy grip with it. I wore a wig when I transitioned a few years ago, but did not wear the comfy grip or a wig cap. I think I'll do it this time though.
Is the comb pulling out your hair in the front or is it the abrasion from the weave/wig itself? It seems like a lot of people are using surge to get their hairline back more quickly. Otherwise, maybe time and pampering (condition, moisture, etc.) will assist it to grow back if you eliminate what's causing it. There's also shapely's Original M-T-G.
Sorry, can't offer anymore advice since I didn't have that happen to me....just thinking of things off the top of my head.

The lining of the cap is probably made of synthetic materials and then there's the comb attachment. Both are wearing on your hair and adding unnecessary stress. Hence, the areas where the comb attachment is will probably begin to thin over time and the area in which the cap is rubbing will thin as well.
