Is it possible to get this style with one's real hair? Of course I mean the curls, but especially the shape and fullness. If so how?

To get this look flexirods or curlformers would probably work. As far as fullness it would depend if you were natural, texlaxed or relaxed. It would be fuller on natural and texlaxed hair.

Yeah, I think it's possible. It's just hard to tell because this looks like a photo illustration and it's obvious they did some photo editing. This can achieved with roller-setting or taking a 1.5" curling iron to blow dried natural hair IMO.

I agree that the flexirod will get this look. Yet it depends on the thickness of your hair that will bear different results. My hair is thin and I still got a thick look from pulling it apart.

This is such a pretty look please let us know how it goes :)

Flexi rods or curlformers for the curls.
Def prep the hair w a volumizing product(s) especially at the roots.

Maybe back comb/tease the roots of the underneath layers (very gentle).

If you're relaxed wait until you have a few weeks worth of new growth so you have volume near the scalp but the length is nice and smooth.

i agree with the other ladies....you need the extra large flexi rods and a head full of long hair.

set hair with mousse.

use hair spray to set the curl.

oil sheen to get that shine.

its possible, as a child they did this on my natural hair. It was full ,long and of course with a curlformer...its possible

How to achieve this look with real hair:

- Have VERY long hair

- Have very thick Hair

- Use Curlformers

- Use a setting foam that will provide the hold and shine you want

- Dont separate too much

- Spray with some sort of sheen product afterward if needed

I definitely believe that this look is achievable! I would think you would have to have super long hair seeing as how her back curls are almost bSL. Great setting lotion, flexi rods or curlformers, natural hair or texlexed might work best for the volume in my opinion and don't separate the curls too much because hers are pretty uniform thru out
