I use the Hard protein treatment(every six to 10 weeks depending on how my hair is doing), 2 min. reconstructor(once a week), shampoo for damaged hair, leave in spray and the green tea keratin spray. I love all of them!

I really love the Keratin and Green Tea Reconstructorizer (sp?)! My hair feels so much stronger and healthier.

I also used the Treatment for Damaged Hair to stop breakage.

Def. the treatment for damaged hair followed by their balancing moisturizer. I don't use anything else by them but those 2 products.

Don't mean to intrude on this forum but would anyone recommend using the Aphogee hard treatment if there hair is doing well?

Oh and by the way I'm Toya..."I'm new"...hello everyone!

I use the 2 min reconstructor, and 2 step protein. I love love love the 2 min. I bought the green tea this weekend so i'm anxious to try it out.

I'm doing the hard protein treatment right now (since I just washed my hair for the first time since I heat-styled it for Thanksgiving). I hope it turns out well. I've heard a lot of good things about it...and a lot of not so good things. I plan on rinsing it out, then co-washing it, then DC'ing my hair with moisturizing DC for about 30 minutes to an hour. Hopefully my hair will gain even more strength and elasticity :yay:.

Hi Toya and welcome!:yep:

I use the Aphogee hard treatment, and many other ladies do too, on the wash cycle before getting a relaxer. The extra protein helps to counteract the degradation of the hair's protein bonds that can occur during the relaxer process. The only time I use the hard treatment is for this reason.

Please do a thorough search on the Aphogee hard treatment on this site if you haven't used it before. You must be very careful NOT to manipulate your hair while the treatment is dried and you MUST follow with a moisturizing DC. HTH

I agree. I use it only before i'm about to relax, so only every 8 weeks. That stuff is serious business. Do not use it too often and when you do, no manipulation until you get ready to rinse. You can use it no matter how healthy your hair is because all hair needs protein. Just make sure you have enough moisture in your hair so you won't overload on the protein.

I use the Aphogee 2 Min Reconstructor, Provitamin Leave in and Essential Fatty Acid Oil freqently.
I prefer the old formula better and stock up.
I use the Green Tea Reconstructor ocassionally.

I like the 2 minute reconstructor, the hardcore formula was good but I do believe the formula has changed and it's not as effective as it use to be...

After all the responses I can definatley say I will try the 2 min reconstructor and the keratin treatment!
