Why is it so difficult to get a decent bob?

Think Slim
After wearing layers for many years (think Jennifer Aniston, then Halle Berry) I am thrilled to finally have a "perfectly even" bob. What I don't get, is why is it so difficult to get someone to give me a cut w/o finding stray hairs, or finding little uneven sections.

The only place I ever got a great bob-cut was at Vidal Sasson and that was years ago. I may have to try them again, because it seems that regardless to where I go, I can't get a great cut.

Are they cutting your style while wet or dry? I think that makes the difference.

When I used to wear a bob the most frustrating part was the natural "v" shape my hair would grow into. Eventually I got frustrated and grew out my bob.

I don't have any advice... just wanted to say that I thought that the last word in the title was "job" so I thought that I was on the wrong board... LOL /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I don't know. My hair grew like a "v" from my bob cut as well. I think it's best to cut when dry.

I get it cut while wet, but have only get a dry dusting. Regardless to how I get it cut, wet or dry, I cannot get anyone who gives a really clean, perfectly even cut.

I haven't experienced the "v" thingy, but I think that depends on how your hair grows, in general. Heck, maybe I'll just get some layers put in, but I'll wait until I have at least shoulder length.
