Why Does the Nape Area.....

......Of my hair dry soooooo FAST? I am thinking this can't be a good thing?
Anybody have any advice/ tips?

Sometimes I wonder if everyone's nape area is a different hair type than the rest of the hair. I treat this area special, moisturizing it more often and I haven't relaxed it in about a year now. It's about 95 % natural and growing out nicely.

Do you wrap or tie up your hair? I notice this part of my hair (being that it is so short) is the most difficult to wrap/tuck in my scarf. So it is exposed to my pillowcase and everything at night. The only thing that helps is extra moisturizing and making sure it is tucked securely under my scarf at night. Also make sure it's not rubbing against furniture or anything because that can dry it out.
