Why does rusk sensories smoother make my hair hard?

I picked it up at bj's i have the passion flower leave in
and when i put it on it feels really good and soft i can comb through my hair if need be

but in the morning my hair is hard it has a hold kind of to it even my ends but the hair under neath does not feel as hard just the top layer Ntm leave in does this also but this has no protein

i've tried using it with ors moisturizer in the jar same effect even with scurl i've sealed with motions hair lotion

and to seal with evoo but always the same effect

since my hair does not want any protein
is it the hydrolyzed wheat protien making it dry that way

when i run my hands down my hair it feels hard almost like i've used a hair hold gel but when i stick my fingers in my hair it does not feel hard but regular

i have not tried ruck alone yet

has this happened to anyone else?

This left my hair feeling 'weird'. Coated, kinda hard, I didn't like it. I've tried it a few times with different leave-ins/without them. I've since given up that it's not for me.

My bottle is 90% full to be swapped in May. erplexed

It's weird and the only thing that makes my hair soft is scurl but only after using it a few days

Could you be using too much. When I first started using it, I was using too much and it made my hair hard but being that I bought the biggest bottle I was going to figure out how to use it. After I washed my hair I applied a little on my hair and then I followed up with Fantasia IC Olive Oil serum and voila soft hair. Don't use too much and you will be fine.HHG

This never makes my hair hard. You may be using too much like Tsmith said.

hopefully i'll have soft hair after it drys
