To all the devoted damage remedy users, my humble apologies for ever doubting your endless reviews and raves. After plopping down 51 bucks for the shampoo and conditioner, I was really hopeing that I loved it. Well last night I really didn't need to wash but I couldn't help myself. It was nearly 2 in the morning but I didn't care. First of all let me just say that this stuff smells great, fresh kinda flowery but not to much. I used the shampoo and my hair felt smoother and softer. I really didn't get "slip" but my texture felt better. The lady at the store said that out of all the products, people complain about the shampoo the most. She said that part of the problem is that people use too much. She told me only to use a little and it worked wonders. So next came the conditioner and my hair softened up instantly. As I was working it through and I couldn't believe how soft my hair felt. I was in love. I really wanted my hair to feel just as soft when it rinsed and it did. The thing that really got me though is that my usual products worked better on my hair. Me and my rusk smoother leave in have been fighting lately:wallbash: but last night, it seemed to be a different product:angel: . It went on smooth and it softened my hair right away. It usually doesn't do that for me. Rollersetting was a breeze. Even my underprocessed parts didn't give me any issues. I had to air dry it since my bf was really sick of my sit under dryer noise, especially at 3 in the morning.:ohwell: It didn't really fully dry until I sat under the dryer at 7 this morning for 20mins. My hair doesn't really like to be air dried but it still felt sleek. I lost a small amount of hair when I combed it through but I am sure that is from the air drying. I can't wait to the next wash day so I can sit under the dryer for conditioning and drying. Aveda is Fabolous.:yay: I know I might be singing its praises a little too early, after all we have all had products that worked great the first time around and later just :perplexed :ohwell: sucked but sometimes a little instant gradification feels a little too good not to share.
