Why condition 2x...

Hi everyone! I have a couple of questions:

1. One of my favorite conditioners (LeKair Cholesterol) suggests that you "massage through hair, leave on 2 minutes, then repeat". Is this pratice actually a benefit to the conditioning process or just a clever ploy by the manufacturers to use/buy more.

2. For the last month my version of the "wet bun" is not to wrap the hair around the "ouchless" band, but to leave it hanging and scrunch the wet ponytail while drying to create a curly puff. Is scrunching everyday ok?? I know, I know the whole purpose is to protect the ends, but I love how cute the curly puff is!! I do use a lot of carrot oil and leave in conditioner.

Now that it has been very hot and humid i've been washing my hair and using 5 conditioners and using a thick leave in conditoner and scrunch while wet it leaves my hair very curly it does no harm to my hair i usually wash my hair every 4 days to maintain this style my hair is a little past my shoulders and i have not experience any breakage at all.

Maybe that is what I did wrong! I have to use the LeKair twice..

I don't have time for that.

1. I've never reapplied LeKair conditioner but I have done a conditioner washes. Hmmmm, I guess it could work esp. for those whose hair might require a little extra. Did you try it that way? If so how did it turn out.

2. Moisturize as needed, especially before bed, and you should be fine.

mahogani- thanks, I'm glad to hear that. But I do this daily after my shower, do you think thats too much scrunching??

Hi vevster, yeah I'd like to save time and money by not having to condition twice if it serves no additional benefit.

Hi Spagirl, And thanks for the welcome!

Honestly, I don't see/feel a difference after the second application of LeKair. Also, when I do the conditioning washes I still use the LeKair. The result are great. I love and enjoy the condition of my hair now, more than I did this time last year.
