Personally, I envy no one's hair. That's not to say that there aren't women on the LHCF whose hair isn't beautiful. However, envy is a trait to which I have learned not devote much time and energy.

I agree. There are definitely some women here with beautiful hair, but for me they are more like super inspirations. They've been at this a while and just help me be more determined to stick with my new healthy hair habits.
No harm, no foul. Like BlackCardinal said, there are many women on the Board who provide gallons of inspiration for each one of us "fledglings." And, perhaps I should have said this.
There are so many beautiful heads of hair on this board but I most admire den1's hair the most because it is all natural, thick, and lovely... and close to my texture, which is know is very hard to manage at her length.
And the list is endless for me: Mufasa, Denise, DreamyB (nappturality member), Daughter, AFashionSlave, Anikalia...to mention a few of the naturals. The relaxed/tenderized...Adrienne, BRH, Hairlove, SherryLove, Serena, Sweetcocoa, Supergirl, Pebbles, Caramela...et cetera (a list too long to exhaust). It's kinda hard to choose just one out of a throng of gorgeous heads.
I'd have to say Adrienne and Sweetcocoa. There are many more but I feel like I've "grown" with these particular ladies. I've literally watched Adrienne go from neck length to past bra strap and "Sweets" from permed and I think neck length as well to natural and long. It's not just the growth but the condition in which they've kept their hair and how they mastered downfalls.
Let me just sum it all up and piggyback Nonie's list.
I admire Adrienne for growing her relaxed hair so long and healthily. Its inspiring to see it go from short to soooo long now and proves that yes, it is possible to grow your hair long Mr Johnny Gentry from that black hair magazine who thinks we should just 'accept' the length its at or get a weave and cheat...
I admire everyone on this board for having enough determination to figure out the 'impossible' and enough willingness to help keep each other motivated.
Hey you removed it... that was my goal bun!!! put it back - put it back
pretty pleazzzeeee
Did you use a donut or is that all your hair? if it's the latter, praytell how did you accomplish such a NEAT and BEAUTIFUL bun? Mine always looks like who did it and ran...
Hahahahaha, CaramelHonee, I put it back in my av. It's a donut, and I use a rattail comb when spreading the hair over donut. The use of the rattail comb ensures that the hair completely covers the donut. I then slide a scrunchie over my donut-covered-hair to make sure that the hair stays smooth over the donut. Finally I tuck the ends under the scrunchie, and I'm on my way!
It's wierd because the longer my hair gets, the more difficult it is to tuck those ends under...but since the bun comes out almost perfect everytime, it's difficult to let it go!

I think admire is the word Dejuan meant.
