Who's been using.....

the Jamaican castor oil for a while like more then a 1 month. I see there are alot of the threads on this but most of the responses are that they just started using it and it is too soon to tell that it is working, since those threads were a while ago I know some of you may be able to give your experience with the product now. I just purchased it myself to see if it will thicken up my hair but I just want to know if there is anyone else who has had great success with this. Thanks

MissFallon could probably give you a good testimonial.... you may want to PM her. I know she is one who has used it for a while, and consistently.... and had good results.

I personally have been using it for a while.... but so inconsistently that i cant really say for sure whether or not its contributed to any additional thickness. I will say that my hair has gotten thicker over the last few months, but i also use MTG and Biotin regularly.....

I have been using my caster oil blend for about 2 weeks and I swear I can see a difference.. maybe I am fooling myself but it seems like my scalp is generally healthier and my then temples seem to be holding on more hair and thickening.

Imma have to order some of this stuff. I haven't heard a bad review yet. How does it smell? Are you wearing your hair up or down when using it?

I just started using it myself. I got it from Sams247.com. It is a clear brown, unlike the kind you get in the drugstore. It barely smells like anything.

I have been using the refined castor oil. It has no smell. Let me just go and sniff it to see again- it just smells like oil. It has a slight smell- did you ever when you were little have those cheap roll on lipglosses that were clear? It smells like them.LOL! I dpn'tknow if the black one has a stronger scent. It wouldn't be noticeable unless someones nose was right in your head

I should be able to give an update by next week or in 2 weeks. LR works quick and the new growth should start coming in soon. I learned a trick that I am not sure if anyone knows but I put my LR in the microwave for 20 seconds when I took it out it was like oil so I just mixed the castor oil in there and let it sit for like 1 hour and when I opened it again it was solid like the way it was before. I guess you can do this with any grease but it is interesting and a good idea because you know you have an even distribution in the jar. Just thought I would share that.

Pat, your babyboy is beautiful! I love the waves in your hair. Post-partum shedding perhaps, maybe the prenatal vitamins would be safe to take again, ask your pediatrician and OB/Gyn provider.
