I've posted this in the naturals do's n don'ts thread but thought that it can use a thread of it's own. they have samples, oils, household bases, humectants, lotions, etc. Some may find the pricey while others find then reasonable. I personally like the sizes they offer...not your ordinary 4, 6, 8oz. sizes. Take a look!

Thanks, I want to try to make my own conditioner. The one I use now doesn't have very complicated ingredients, but I need some kind of base

Coconut Fatty Acid Cream Base, Organic Aloe Vera, Organic Shea Butter, Wheat Germ Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Organic Rosa Mosqueta® Rose Hip Seed Oil; Extracts of Fennel, Hops, Balm Mint, Mistletoe, Camomile, Yarrow, Chrysanthemum, Angelica, Forsythia and Magnolia; Honeysuckle Oil, Carrot Oil, Aubrey's Preservative (Citrus Seed Extract, Vitamins A, C and E).

it look as if these cons have aloe as the main ingredient...are you looking for a specific main ingredient...not too mention these are 88-95% organic. Let me know and I can look around the net for the base you perfer.

it just dawned on me that your looking for Coconut Fatty Acid Cream Base

I'm not necessarily looking for the coconut base. There may be something even better for my hair. I'm going to try one of the ones from the site you gave. I'll probably order later this month. Right now I'm looking at making a bronzer...

WOW..Thanks for posting this OP :yay::yay::yay::yay:I recently started using my own shampoos and conditioners by mixing my own ingredients to bases but this site has the largest selection that I've seen plus they have a baby care section :woot::woot::woot::kiss:

Thanks so much for posting this!

I wonder can those bases be used as is?

I really want to try this Hair Masque http://www.essentialwholesale.com/product_p/603.htm

Ingredients: Aloe barbadensis (Organic Aloe) Juice, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ricinus communis (Castor Seed) Oil, Stearalkonium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, d-Calcium Pantothenate (Panthenol Vitamin B5), Hydrolized Wheat Protein, Cocos nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Limnanthes alba (Meadowfoam) Oil

I also see that they have butters also! They have Avocado butter too, and I love avocado butter. They even have a bunch of carrier oils.

Hey, this thread is super old but I'm wondering if anybody has ordered from essentialwholesale.com lately and some reviews, im thinking about ordering a shampoo and conditioner to make my own.

I havent used them, but im a HUGE fan of ingredientstodiefor.com super.fast shipping, even if the cost of said shipping a little much. 7lbs of conditioner for 64 bucks isnt bad

Organicals deep conditioning cream, i may put a fragrance oil into a smaller container and mix that with the conditioner, but that's if i'm in the mood. it's moisturizing enough to where i don't have to mix it with anything else.

http://www.ingredientstodiefor.com has some good stuff I wish they made more all natural products like essentialwholesale.com has, i really like the ingredients that the coffee shampoo and herbal wheat and oat conditioner has, then just add a few extra ingredients. I think I will order and just give a update!
