Beauty IS skin deep.
RiteAid is like a mini Ulta!! The only thing that's missing is the salon and makeup counter:grin: So I went into RiteAid tonight lookin for some stuff and I found myself in the hair care section before leaving the store (I didn't buy anything....yippee). Why did I see almost the entire line of Joico products on the shelf?! I thought it was kinda weird when they started selling TIGI and Sebastian products. Now there's a whole salon line of products in there. The only thing is that the line is pretty pricey. I've seen better prices in Ulta. RiteAid is just an expensive drugstore all around. I won't be surprised if they start selling the PhytoOrganics brand of Nexxus next. Maybe even Keracare or Kenra:grin:

:yep::yep::yep: Yes girl, RiteAid's hair product section is bonafide.

I damn near passed out when I walked in as saw PureOlogy products.

It's almost like an upscale bss in there.:drunk:

Yes, I saw the PureOlogy products too! It was crazy. Maybe I'll walk in there after the new year and they'll be selling Abba and Ojon:grin: Now if they would only start selling my Dominican products and my ORS Replenishing Pak in the bottle:grin::grin:

Some of the rite aid's /cvs up here sell dominican products too.
I think I read somewhere a while back where someone walked into a RiteAid and saw dominican products. I remember reading that and racing to my local RiteAid to see if they sold some too. I was a little disappointed, but then again..........I can attribute this to the demographics. That explains why not too many places in my area sell dominican products. I'd have to drive about 4 or 5 hours or order them online to get them.

The Rite-Aids close to me are nothing like that. They have a crappy hair selection and it's overpriced :nono:

On the real, does this stuff come in a bottle? I could have sworn I saw someone post a pic of a bottle of it but I can't find it anywhere. I can't afford to be spending almost $3 per week for a DC. (2 packs)

Please tell me that it's sold in a bottle somewhere:yep:

Ms Cherokee, you're a lifesaver!
I thought I was going to start having to buy stock in ORS for as many of those little packs I was going to buy up. Going to order this stuff now....

Thanks!
BB

P.S. How's the hair?

You're welcome sista!! Girl, I know how expensive buying those little packs can be, so when I found this, I felt soooooo relieved and immediately purchased a bottle. The hair's coming along alot better! I can really tell a difference and I'm starting to pinpoint more where I need to pay the most attention to, but it's definitely gotten better since last week.

BTW........don't buy up all the ORS bottles. Save some for me:grin:

Here is what I found in the RiteAid here:
Nexxus, of course
PureOlogy
Sebastian
Redken
Paul Mitchell
Biolage (Matrix)
TIGI
Catwalk
Biosilk
Joico
Rusk
Sammy

There are some more.....but I can't remember. They have a good selection. I was quite shocked to see all of that. And they keep expanding their product selection, so I'm looking forward to see what else they might be stocking up in there. They may even start selling Aveda:blush:

Miss_Cherokee, I had this same experience yesterday when I was in the grocery store (Ralph's) and saw an extensive selection of Nexxus products right next to the entire BioSilk line!

I can't help but wonder if this will have any effect on the products (changes in formulation) or price...:scratchch

Most likely not, or at least I doubt it. From what I've heard from some of the salon employees around here, the higher end products like Nexxus, Sebastian, etc. are sold in places like RiteAid, Walgreens, etc. after not being able to be sold in the salons. So basically, what you see in those stores may very well have been sitting on a salon shelf for a while, and since it didn't sell in the salon, the manufacturers are trying to make as much profit off if that they can by selling it in drugstores/grocery stores. Still good product, but be careful b/c it can also be expired. There's no surefire way of telling:perplexed

I haven't been to Rite Aid in a while, I've been shopping at Walgreens latley. I may have to swing by there when I get a chance. :)

You can also find the bottles in the BSS at Northlake Mall. Also Angie's Beauty supply store on Buford Highway carries it. It's a few dollars more than the online price, but once you factor in shipping it comes out to about the same price.
