What kind do you use and what style do you normally wear it in.

I was one of those people who didn't like them, but i just bought one thinking it might be the best thing for my ends because right now im at shoulder length and i want to grow it without my ends growing thin. So im hoping this will help.

I was thinking of wearing it into a bun but right now im struggling because it seems too thick.
Any suggestions?

I had a drawstring pony that I recently parted ways with, it was starting to go downhill. It was a spiral ponytail with highlights in it, oh how I miss it. I can't remember what brand it was, I bought it at a local bss

How did you wear it, did you have to add extra pins to make sure it was secure?

The one i bought is also a drawstring, it matches my hair colour perfectly im just thinking it might be a bit to big for me.

I did not add any extra pins, my hair and the drawstring kept it really secure. I would put my hair in a bun on top of my head, spray it down with Scurl, throw a baggie on it and then throw the pony on top, pull the drawstring taut and then wrap the string around and tuck it under the pony. You could use bobby pins to help hold it in place, they feel more secure than hair pins to me.

I wear phony ponies all the time. I have an afro that I love and when I do wear it, it makes me think about going natural :) , it is a draw string and very easy to put on...
My second phony pony that I wear faithfully isn't a draw string but fastens around my pony tail. It's straight pig tail, but I never wear it down, it is always wrapped like a bun and then I add my accessories to it or a regular scrunchie...

Oh how i wish i can wear a drawstring phony. I used to love them but i never particularly liked the way they looked on me. I have a big round head and big ears, so i prefer keep hair in the front of my head. although i do still have a fav that looks cute on me. I have a long soft spiral drawstring pony that i place at the top of my head and then wrap it around as a wavy/messy bun style. it's very cute, alot of compliments.

I wear a phony pony all the time. I am natural and it is very easy for me. I do not wear the comb because I am scare of losing hair in that spot. I use bobby pins to secure. I think if you get one try to the find the one that matches your hair color and texture.
