I tried using plain glycerine on my hair a couple times. It didn't like so can't really compare the two. Now that I think about it, I've never tried plain honeyquat. I always mix it in stuff. Hmmm, maybe I should give glycerine another chance.natieya said:Awesome! Thanks for the replies! So, for those of you that have used vegetable glycerine, is honeyquat significantly more moisturizing? Thanks in advance!![]()

Sareca: You posted a listing of your oils, butters, additives in another thread and I thought I had posted that. Our inventory is just about identical.
klb...: Made from natural honey, Honeyquat is an excellent humectant, binding environmental moisture to itself, thereby increasing the moist-urization of skin and hair. Moisture uptake studies show that Honeyquat has twice the moisturizing ability of glycerin. On hair, it leaves a clean, conditioned feeling, enhancing shine and luster due to its smoothing properties, especially on damaged hair. Honeyquat will help to improve wet-combability of the hair and reduce and eliminate static buildup. Clear to slightly hazy, pale straw colored liquid. Recommended usage is 2% to 5%.
