I stink and how no idea it was so powerful. I did an ACV rinse on my hair Wednesday night and it worked like a charm...I mixed 1/2 cup ACV with 2 cups of water. I was able to detangle 3 1/2 months of new growth in less than 5 mins  After I was done fixing my hair the smell was very faint. Well, how come as I am at the gym getting my cardio in, the more I begin to sweat, the stronger the oder of vinegar became. I started to realize that no one was working out next to me and the lady 2 treadmills over was looking at me crazy :perplexed When we got in the car my son and daughter were telling me I stunk and my husband leaned over and wrinkled his face and told me I either smelled like salt and vinegar chips or massingil  I am off to wash my head right now :yep: LOL all day at myself.

Yeah, you used a lot of acv compared to water. But, since you're hair didn't tangle up then I guess it's a good mix for your hair.

That is funny though. Maybe you didn't rinse enough?

That's a lot of vingar. I use maybe an ounce with 2 cups of my tea rinse. I rinse the vinegar with a second rinse.

I no poo my hair 3-4 times a week using a vinegar rinse and after rinsing the vingegar I don't notice the smell. I work out regularly and have never been told that I smelled like a douche.:lachen:

:lachen::lachen::lachen::lachen: RFLOL! NExt time try 1/2 to 1 tablespoon to 2 cups of water or chase with your favorite conditioner after detangling. :yep:

:look: I was wondering which Massengil you were referring to; Floral Bouquet, Extra Sensitive... LMAO @ vingear & water :lachen: :lachen: WOW. Definitely went too hard on the ACV.

Well, now I know where I went wrong. I was reading somewhere not to rinse the ACV so I poured it over my head and than squeezed out the excess. Next time I'll definitely decrease the amount I use as well. Thanks for the tips.

Yeah...i was about to say the same thing - you used TOO much ACV girl. Lol! Lucky your hair didn't get tangled. I usually don't measure my ACV put I know the mixture is right when (1) I only faintly smell the ACV and (2) the mixture has a yellowish tint.

So smelling like ACV or massingil after your rinse is definitely a no no. Lol...

Bwahahahahaha....:lachen:! That is too comical...I knew there was a reason I've been avoiding the ACV rinse! I hope your next trip to the gym is less awkward....
