Who is still doing the bun baggie method from wash to wash?

I was doing this initially when I first started in August, and my hair literally thrived!! But now that it's getting cold, I'm not cowashing as much and my hair really really misses it. So being that this is my first time really learning to take care of my hair properly, I realy do not know what will work for the winter months right now, but I do know that it works for me and it's a great low manipultion technique especially while stretching.

I did it when I first started my hair care journey and my hair thrived on it, too, as someone else said. I'm back on it now and I'm trying to figure out how to work it with the cold weather. I'm thinking if I do my CWs in the evenings after work and baggy, that my hair will be mostly dry at least at the crown area by the morning when I'll put on my phony bun to cover the baggy and a hat.

That's my plan anyway but it's just now starting to get cold so we will see how long it lasts.

Ladies you don't need to wet your entire head to do the baggie method. It's for the ends. So you can still so this in the winter with no problem. Just moisturise and seal the length and cover with baggie. Unless the baggie method has been updated in my absence.

I do this and I've been bunning for a few months now, though I've just added baggying to the equation at the beginning of this month. I def. have less breakage and I never have to deal w/ dryness. I'll see about retaining the length at touchup time.

ME..I'm still doing the baggy/bun thing...yesterday I washed my hair and was getting ready to put it up and noticed how long it was when I caught my profile in the mirror..I'm really retaining length and my ends are in great shape. I will be getting a relaxer around the 1st of Jan and will post my 1st set of "after" pics

I have been baggying after a wash or co-wash since July and it has really improved the health of my hair, my ends are still intact and my hair hasn't been this healthy in a long time.

I don't baggy anymore. I was bagging as Armyqt described above, but I only did it for a couple of weeks. I don't like that in the AM my ends are wet or damp from the baggy. My ends have continued to be just fine so far. I still moisterize and seal with oil, but minus that bag. I also bun everyday.

For me it's just too much to add all the antidotes to acheive hair retention and growth. Since I have oodles of friends who have similar or the same hair type as me and are not on LHCF and do not do baggying, and some of the other antidotes to get and keep long hair. Don't get me wrong, I have learned a lot here and I practice some of what I learned, but some of the stuff I've tried, either went over my head or just didn't seem to give as much benefit as trouble it takes to do it.

I guess I didn't really notice a miraculous difference using the baggy method, and I don't have breakage or splits now w/o the baggy.
