I heard that it is comparable to the Pibbs. Is this true?

I became an immediate product junkie when I joined the board. I wanted the Pibbs, but I couldnt justify the cost with the hubby. I bought the Pro-Tools on ebay from the Salon Outfitters store. It was $135 with free shipping.

I love it! It has the temp setting dials, a timer with automatic shut-off and I can adjust the airflow. I roll it out about 2x a week for my co-washes and dc's.

Of course I'd have gone for the Pibbs, but I have no regrets buying this one for a couple hundred less.

It's good that you're not buying into all of hype of the Pibbs. That's just an expensive dryer. I was about to do it earlier this year, then a friend told me that it was not all that. Her friend has a Pibbs, she decided to get a Pebco. It's a lot less expensive and looks like the Pibbs, butshe says it works better.

I found a great salon dryer from my local BSS. I got it for $69.99, on sale. The regular price was only $89.99. It works great and I'm so glad that I was warned.

Just like any other dryer, some people are having problems with the Pibb. It's just another expensive bandwagon that people are jumping on.
