I mean who here doesn't time it every month for a dusting, every 3 months for a protein treatment, every wash for a prepoo, etc etc. How many ladies just do whatever to their hair when they think about it?

I do everything as needed. I no longer "plan" my protein treatments. I just use them when I know my hair needs them. Same for trims. Im actually starting to listen to my hair. Saves me a lot of time and work.

I agree. Could not have said it any better than Shtow said it. I find myself always prepooing, but now I realize that it has less to do with a schedule but moreso because I find that my hair reacts well to it. I LISTEN to my hair. I just reccently learned how to do this and it beats any schedule. And yes, you know how much I love that hair of yours, girl!

I don't have one. I just go with the flow. I will hate to admit how long its been since I washed this bad boy:look:

P.S. Bublin I got your pm...Ill respond in a minute.

No routine here! I wash/DC/rollerset my hair as needed. That's it, and it's doing just fine. :yep:

This is soo me. I have no kind of routine whatsoever. If I feel like my hair needs protein or a deep condition, then I do it. I have never been able to follow a routine with my hair.

No routine for me. Could that be why I'm starting over AGAIN??? (smile).

My only routine is spritzing with Scurl/water and using aut gro oil everyday.

I don't.

I do have to be specific each week as to when I decide to do (wash) my hair. I just can't be spontaneous with 2 classes, work, working out, and a 13 year old. If I decide that it will be best for my scheduleto do my hair on a Tuesday one week, I betta get to it. Next week, it might be better to do it on Sunday. It just depends, but I do plan it each week based on other things I have going on.

But I don't really have a set schedule for things. I never schedule protein or anything like that.

I do use the same products everytime, switching conditioners sometimes.

This is definitely me. I am very laid back and don't really do schedules :look:. When I was relaxed I got a touch-up whenever I felt like it (unintentionally stretching for months). As a natural I do the same. I clarify when I think I need it, trim whenever (maybe once a year), deep condition when it comes to mind. I'm too busy with other stuff to be strict about what I do to my hair. As long as I feel I'm not damaging my hair I don't worry.

Along with being a product minimalist, I don't fuss over my hair much at all.

I'm very lazy when it comes to my hair. I don't do any of the deep-conditionings or protein treatments or whatever. I wash it once a week or every other week and style according to my mood.

Looooove your hair!!!:yep:

But, I don't have schedule, either. I listen to my hair and do things as needed. I mean, if I have a protein treatment scheduled for April but my hair is mushy and breaking, am I waiting until April for that protein? Hell naw!!

me neither, I was trying to develop a regimen but it seems harder than I thought....oh well, still learning.

I don't have a set schedule although I mostly wash my hair on Sundays. I'm lazy when it comes to doing hair and thanks to baking soda and conditioner paste to wash I don't need to pre-poo anymore:grin:.

Lately I do it whenever I have the time and whenever I feel up to it...I go weeks at a time without doing much of anything to it except tying it up at night fluff it up in the morning and go

i loosely follow what i'm suppose to do.
i wash my hair once a week but i don't really have a set day.
i try and do what my hair needs and my hair needs daily moisturizing so i do that and it doesn't like being washed more than once a week or it get hard
