which way should I roll my hair to get spiral curls

To get spiral curls whether I am roller setting or hot curling I place the roller/curler barrell in my hair vertically so that the end of the roller is facing up. HTH

To get sprials I roll anyway the roller with fit, it's more about how you pull them out - vertically and twisting to create the spiral.
