Either because you don't know how, hair won't cooperate, or it doesn't look as good on you as on other people.

I can't do WNGs because my texture is not uniform enough and it just doesn't look right.

I can't do puffs anymore because they're too big (I know big is good, but the last one I made was so big it just looked silly). I miss my puffs :(

Afros don't work for me either. The back stands up nicely, but the front just flops in my face :(

How about you?

I can't do all out Wash n' Go's because my hair in the crown is extremely loose in texture and just flops. So I end up doing a braid or a flat twist in the front to hide it.

I'm sure there's a few others, but that's what I can come up with right now.

Twists - no matter how big or small I make them, they always look thin and spacey. They never puff up like other peoples. I just don't do them, or only do twist outs

Cornrows all the way to the back.
Im practicing though, I hope to be able to neatly do the back of my hair soon!
I just mastered flat twists..for some reason they are easier to pull off.

Rollersets...can't do these by myself but I will learn one way or the other.
Bantu Knots....are not attractive on me.
Twist outs....wait, what is this anyway? :look:
Cornrows....without being under a wig these look horrible on me. But they break my hair bad as well. :ohwell:
Messy buns....these are not cute on me, they just actually look messy.

Cornrows or flat twists - I always need someone to do them for me.

Roller sets - I'm not patient and would need someone to do them for me.

Bantu Knots - I don't care for them.

Wash 'n Gos - I'm still transitioning. I'll wait until I'm done for a bit of uniformity.

Bantu-Knot Outs - I cannot for the life of me do bantu knots, so bantu knot outs are always a major fail.

My hair either isn't dense enough or just doesn't like to wrap around itself successfully.

I can't do flat twists, cornrows, or roller sets...I am style challenged

I can do bantu knots, but I don't like how they look on me :nono:

Cornrows and braids.:ohwell: I can't do them, no matter how hard I try.:nono: I am getting better at doing 2 large braids, but I can't seem to do small braids all over. I'm still practicing, though.

Buns, Bantu knot out, braid outs, and twist outs. My bun won't cover the donut thing like my hair is too thin or I need someone to tell me whether it covered, Bantu knot out takes me forever to do one, braid outs don't come out defined and twist outs I'm not going to lie i haven't tried but it looks difficult the twist out corn roll thing and o yeah I can't corn roll my own hair

It would seem the big braids will be harder than the smaller ones

I don't like certain styles because they don't go well with my head shape and/or face:

-High buns
-Any buns that aren't low
-Any hair style that doesn't allow for bangs
- Curly roller sets make my head look fat

Twists, braids, flat iron ( my hair is very prone to humidity)

Replying to my own post... I know how to do all of these styles, they just don't work on my hair type... Also buns with my own hair bc it's so low density and short

Twist outs! And I loooove them. I just can't make them look right on my head. Maybe because my hair is so fine? Braidouts are great, though. Probably my favorite style at the moment.

Rollersets on my natural texture. I can rollerset on previously straightened hair, but rollersetting on wet, curly hair? :nono:

The only styles I can't do are french braids(not cornrows), fishtail braids and a puff(surprisingly since they seem so easy) I also can't successfully flat iron my hair.

I can't do a twist out to save me life. I end up with weird ends, or I end up looking like a 12 year old. Also, I can't pull off a wash n go with my current length do to shrinkage. I look too weird.

I can't do flat twists and cornrows on MYSELF, but I can do them on someone else. But I'm good with this, because I don't like the way flat twists/cornrows look on ME, anyway. :ohwell:
