Has coffee helped anyone? I have a coffee butter blend on the way and I infused some black cumin seed oil with coffee. I am trying to fill in the relaxer V in the front of my hair.

Ogoma

Coffee Rinses and Coffee products are great. They have Caffeine, Stimulate Follicles and Blocks DHT.

Yes, I think both the Rinses and the products that contain Coffee are wonderful.

Garlic - most effective remedy, I blend a few cloves and use the "juice" as a pre-poo. I do it when my shedding gets heavy.

Henna - When I hennaed regularly, my shedding was minimal

ACV rinses - I am losing notably less shed hair since using acv as a final rinse regularly. I think it has to do with removing conditioner residue from Dcing, my scalp feels a lot fresher these days.

I think I heard somewhere that sulfur is good for shedding. Has anyone else heard this too? Would that mean applied topically, or taken internally?

I chose "other" ; garlic supplements helped my horrible shedding BUT also I had to get my hair to it's proper protein/moisture balance. I find that if I do a protein treatment at least every two months it helps with my shedding.

-Alter Ego Garlic conditioner works great and reduces shedding instantly.
-Black teas is drying (for me). I use other teas but those are mainly for softness. However, I'm sure the teas are helping to combat some shedding as well.
