Which do you use to texturize: texturizer or Relaxer

I use Motions Oil Moisturizing Mild.

I used to use a texturizer. I tried using a mild relaxer but it came out as an under processed relaxer.

The textruizer relaxes the curls just ever so lightly so I still had lots and lots of texture left.
