I went to order one from amazon (I have a giftcard and I'm lazy) :)

Anyways, I wasn't aware that they have different models.

Everyone raves about them... does it even matter which one I pick?

I want to use it for my weekly detangling.

I just got the D3 yesterday and used it for the first time last night to detangle in the shower. It was fantastic.

I just got the D3 last Friday and I really like it

Just so you know, This is the difference in the models

D3 has 7 rows of teeth
D4 has 9 rows of teeth

I have a D4. I jus bought it, cant wait to give it a whirl:drunk:

I'm in braided extensions at the moment, so I'll be waiting another 2-3 weeks. I hope its worth it!!!!!!!!!!

The D3. I thought this thing was overrated, but it glides right through my hair. I got it at Sally's and all they had was the D3 - no D4's :ohwell: but this works, so that's okay.

All they had was the D3, so I got that one. I think as my hair gets longer, I'll upgrade to the D4. :yep:

They only had two left too :ohwell: so you know I had to go ahead and grab one! I haven't seen them anywhere else in Memphis...

They have the D3s at the Sally's on Austin Peay. They actually have quite a few. You have to look in the bottom row of brushes, and you'll see it. It's like 8.99.

I got my D4 from there a couple years ago. I'm going to get the D3 from Sally's, and try that next.

I have the D4...I love it and I refuse to use any other brush...it detangles my hair like no other and I never have any hair left in my brush afterwards like with other brushes

How do you all use your Denmans?
I have a D3 traditional, a D4 Noir, and a D3SW7 - wood. I got the D3 originally @ Sally's but, for me, I found that 7 rows were ok but the D4 has 9 rows and it works better for me.

I keep the D3 @ work for hair emergencies. The wooden one I got because it was pretty. :spinning:

I use the D4 for detangling in the shower with conditioner under running water AFTER I use my wide tooth shower comb first. Then I use the D4 to smooth and when I was transitioning, it was the best for putting my hair in a pony. I also used the D4 for blowdrying a smoother hair shaft my hair AFTER I used my padded paddle brush for getting the hair dry.

Now, however, since I do air dried twists (thanks to RusticBeauty's youtube videos) I use my D4 to detangle my BC'd hair during the twist process I hardly use my Denman these days. I will use it more as my hair gets longer.

I use it for detangling to remove all of the shed hair that my wide tooth comb can't remove. I use it on slightly damp hair soaked in conditioner while I am out of the shower (I can't do the detangling in the shower thing, I would be in there forever).

For me, the key is to use relatively small sections of hair, start gently at the bottom, and work my way up. I stop detangling once I can run the brush through with ease and I don't feel any tangles when I run my fingers through it.

HTH!

I use the D4 for daily styling, I have a D41 as well, I do not use it at much at all.

I also have a D75 when I blow my roots out.
