how do you maintain the curls? I mean, do you pin curl every curl? Do the pin curls give you tighter curls than what you started out with? I'm getting my hair done next Thursday for a party that I'm going to on Friday and I want to know if it would be worth it to get curls or if I should stick with a low maintenance 'do like a wrap. TIA.

I used to pin curl but sometimes my ends would look a little frizzy, so now I sleep in magnetic rollers. That what I can remoisten my hair and slick the ends down on the roller to keep them slick.

When I'd get curls, the stylist would put a light mist of holding spray (Stick with me here, I know you probably don't want to hear the holding spray business). I'd put a silk bonnet overnight and go to sleep on my stomach, which would leave the majority of my head preserved from my wild night thrashings (No, I don't mean thrashing with another person, just me and my restlessness.)

There are a couple things you can do to maintain them

1) pin curl and secure with bobby pins

2) Use hard or soft rollers (like Hype hair)

3) Gather hair is high ponytail(s) and put rollers on the ends

4) Do flexi rod set on dry hair

Hope that helps :)
