Silly question but do you spray it on and flat iron immediately or do you let it dry onto the hair first before you do? I'm asking because the directions on several of these products make it seem like you can just spray on and use your hot tool immediately after, but I'm not quite sure if this is good because wont the hair sizzle? To be safe I always spray and let it airdry some. How do y'all do it normally?

Even though the directions say you can use your styling tool immediately after spraying, I always wait until my hair is dry...that sizzle scares me

I have Treseme heat spray and if I spay and then iron it does sizzle and pop but my hair is also crunchy.

I think the only time its OK to do this is before you blow dry. If you are flat ironing use a serum.

LOL. Seems like we all have more sense than the manufacturers. I want to know how they came to the conclusion hot tools on damp hair are ok. I've seen hairstylists spray and iron right after as well, but I know many of them have poor judgement anyway so...
