G Ganjababy Well-Known Member Jan 2, 2009 #2 You can use henna on top of dye but it will not stop the damge caused by peroxide or ammonia
Neith New Member Jan 2, 2009 #3 Think of henna having the strengthening power of a really good, light protein conditioner. It improved my overall texture and did make my hair stronger and just overall nicer, but it's not like a reconstrucor.
